Stratford Festival – 10 July, 2013

There was standing room only for my recent talk at Ontario’s world-renowned Stratford Shakespeare Festival. I spoke about “Elizabeth and Mary, Rival Queens: Leadership Lost and Won” and signed copies of Blood Between Queens. What a pleasure it was to address such a knowledgeable audience of theatergoers!

A highlight for me was a book club group who’d come from London, Ontario and told me they’ve read all my Thornleigh Saga books. They call themselves “The Bookies.” I love that!

The rival queens of my talk are Elizabeth I of England her cousin Mary, Queen of Scots, who feature – along with the Thornleigh family, of course – in my recent release “Blood Between Queens.”
